ITV Good Morning Britain fans have squirmed as Kate Garraway can’t pronounce a guest’s name.

GMB fans have watched on as presenter Kate failed to introduce a guest for a debate via video link.

After failing a first time, Kate said: “Let me do that again. Dr Shola, you say your surname because I’m useless this morning.”

Dr Shola replied: “OK, so, read it phonetically. I’m not going to let you get away with that. Pronounce it as you see it.”

Kate continued: “Ok, I’m going to try it again”.

After managing to pronounce it right, Dr Shola slow clapped.

She told Kate – in awkward scenes: “Well done.”

“Thank you very much,” Kate said, adding: “You know, I also stumble over ‘Smith’. So it is nothing to do with anything else.

“I stumble over my words most mornings.”

Dr Shola was on the show for a debate over cancel culture, and whether we should forgive and forget.

Demi said: “dr shola is my hero she had kate garraway stuttering about she also stumbles over smith not just ethnic names sksksksm”

“Oh no Dr Shola what ever her surname is gonna cancel Kate,” Cava remarked. ITV GMB continues to air each and every weekday from 6am til 9am on ITV and the ITv Hub.
