Property guru Andy Foote launches new property investment business for the Midlands

A new property investment business is launching in the Midlands, targeting both investors and landlords.

Joseph Mews Property Group is being set up by former SevenCapital sales director Andy Foote, with three brand new UK residential developments secured to offer buyers.

Andy, who led the global distribution team through more than £900 million in sales at the leading UK property group for the past eight years, will launch Joseph Mews Property Group in January 2022, with three brand new UK residential developments secured to offer buyers.

It will sit within his existing group of companies which also includes Alexander Daniels, The Brain Tumour Charity, BMS Ltd and Nub & Ho Properties.

With a focus on helping clients to build wealth through property, the business will also provide industry-leading market research, in-depth investment consultancy and outstanding, 360-degree customer service that Andy has successfully led teams to deliver over the past few years.

While there will still be a working relationship with SevenCapital, this move will see expansion to new markets, providing clients with what they need, ensuring the same level of care whilst offering exciting new opportunities for both existing clients and new audiences around the world.

And, by partnering exclusively with four new developers, the Joseph Mews Property Group will soon be delivering three brand new development launches across some of the most exciting investment locations in the country.

Andy Foote, director at SevenCapital

More than 20 years ago, Andy Foote bought an investment property in Spain and it was then that he realised the importance of customer service.

While Andy was delighted with the capital growth of the property during the build period, with it being overseas he needed local support with funding the property and preparing it for the rental market.

Unfortunately, this simply wasn’t available.

He didn’t have the time to furnish or manage the letting of the property and realised that many other investors were in the same position.

From there, he built his own property investment company with a difference, a full property distribution channel that offered something unique – customer service for investors.

BMS Ltd opened its doors in 2003 and started helping clients find their perfect investments, all while offering ‘360-degree’ customer service.

In 2013, after ten years in business, Andy partnered with Bal Sohal – chairman of SevenCapital – and SevenInvest was born.

Working alongside the wider SevenCapital group, as well as developers Colmore Tang, SevenCapital offered a full end-to-end service for investors, acquiring land and building developments that were then distributed by SevenInvest.

Andy believes now is the time to start forging a new path and, along with a new name and a new office in the Jewellery Quarter, the new chapter with Joseph Mews Property Group is being written.

Andy previously found success through a partnership with the Oxford and Cherwell District Council to deliver 104 apartments in Bicester – within the ground-breaking Graven Hill Village development, with all apartments selling out within just four months.

Within Andy’s property portfolio, he owns three commercial buildings and two holiday homes, all of which are named after Joseph, his son.

Joseph sadly lost his life to a brain tumour in 2007 – he was just nine years old.

The Joseph Foote Trust was set up in his name to try and change the outcome for other families and children diagnosed with the condition.

Since then, the charity has become The Brain Tumour Charity and grown into the largest charity of its kind in the world, funding millions of pounds of research and increasing the survival rate from 15% to 77% over the last two decades.

Across the world, Andy’s different properties also hold the Joseph name as a way of maintaining his legacy. In Spain, you’ll find Casa Jose. In the Cotswolds you’ll find Joseph Lodge. In Birmingham city-centre you’ll find Joseph House.

So, when Andy invested in the beautiful Georgian ‘mews’ building on St Paul’s Square in the Jewellery Quarter, there was only one direction he wanted to take the name.

Andy said: “Myself and the team are incredibly excited to be taking on this new challenge, which will allow us to extend our reach to new audiences and partners around the globe while providing an outstanding standard of care and exceptional investment opportunities for clients.

“Our focus will be on delivering quality developments alongside quality developers, working closely with capable and trusted partners to bring the most exciting projects to our investors.”

On January 4, Joseph Mews Property Group officially launched alongside two new developments.
